概覽 Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Innovation and Technology [BSc(I&T)] is an interdisciplinary four-year programme that prepares students to tackle real-world challenges through technological innovations. This programme focuses on cultivating a new generation of socially-conscious innovators who are fluent in science, engineering, and design, and are able to apply these knowledge to create human-centred innovations that drive positive changes to the rapidly evolving world.

Through a project-led and problem-based curriculum, students engage in open-ended projects spanning a wide range of domains where they collaborate with partners ranging from non-profits to high-tech companies. From day one, students immerse themselves in hands-on projects, honing their problem-solving skills and gaining practical experience in the innovation process. The emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration empowers students to work across academic fields, fostering their confidence and adaptability for their future. Furthermore, the programme offers flexibility for students to explore their interests and develop their own depth of study in a technology discipline.

During their co-op experience, students apply their problem-solving skills by working full-time at a startup company or leading a project solutions in a technology company or research lab. This opportunity allows students to incubate their ideas, potentially leading to the creation of their own ventures. In their final year, students culminate their comprehensive capstone experience by proposing their own venture, forming their own team, and pitching their ideas.
